Water will be the oil of the 21st century. Its scarcity and value will increase as the demand for it does. Even in the Pacific Northwest, unlimited water resources are a thing of the past.
Radford Landcraft believes that for the health of your landscape, the health of the planet and the health of your pocketbook, we will only install the most water efficient irrigation systems. We do that by using:
- Climate based controllers
- Water efficient irrigation design
- Microirrigation (ie. Drip, microsprinklers)
- Low volume sprinklers
- Temporary irrigation systems for plant establishment
- Systems installed per Oregon Landscape Guidelines
Where practical, we try to achieve LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) and the Sustainable Sites Initiative criteria (http://www.sustainablesites.org/) for reduction in irrigation usage whether you’re looking for those LEED points or not.
