Owner, Loren Radford, has been involved in the green industry for 35 years. He started his career as a forestry teacher at a vocational high school in the Adirondacks of upstate New York. Seeking a less brutal winter, he moved the Carolinas, where he owned a forestry/tree service contracting company in western North Carolina and later taught horticulture at Technical College of the Lowcountry in Beaufort, South Carolina.
Loren also served several years in Cooperative Extension as a county extension director in Colorado and a 4H agent in New York. The last 18 years prior to starting his business he taught full-time in the landscape technology program at Portland Community College, Portland, OR.
Loren is a Oregon licensed landscape contractor and a certified arborist.
